Default Most profitable player class?

Which class do you think its the most profitable in terms of farming and earing money?

Although I hear a lot about monk can solo almost everywhere, but I also understand Nercos are doing very well with their income as well.

What do you all think?

I have a level 16 monk/war and I'm able to run most places by myself, so four more levels at minimum I think Monk is a pretty good bet with soloing

The Mesmer. Mesmer FTW!

Well, she has to rely on her Monk secondary.

The one you like playing with the most. After all you'll be playing with him/her over and over again. There are just some characters I can't play all the time.

I like my necro .

Soloing, yeah. But if you're not into soloing, I've made nearly a million gold with my Ranger doing Tombs almost exclusively. She'd completed the game so I thought, what the hell. I'm one of those that does the infamous B/P groups there. I can easily make 4-5k a run in about 45 minutes, even if I don't get a Green drop. If I do get a Green, it's an added bonus (sometimes). You won't get uber-rich like a 55 Monk, but I'm satisifed. I have plenty of gold, nice armor and all the weapons I need.

**Note: this is not overnight, but over a couple of months.

There are solo/55 Ele builds posted. I've never tried one, but some people claim they've been sucessful.

ellys can do things just fine...they just need a monk secondary.

Or you could just go echo nuking on a queen farm, apparently mind burn + Meteor Shower works really well on her (only from seeing it done... fire elly went Mind Burn and Meteor Shower, fastest queen run ever).

What Woody said is also right, E/Mo with good AoE nukes does pretty well. I've been wanting to try that Earth Magic thing that does tons of damage but removes conditions from enemies.

You can certainly solo farm with an ele, and not as a 55
But you (normally) have to chose between handling physical dmg dealers or casters.
Based on mist form or obsidian flesh elites.

Also as mentioned you can 'iele' 55, and even UW with a ss/sv necro very well
[If some are soloing UW with them hats off to doing enough damage with so few slots/xtra attrib]

Heck you can even also Barrage, though yes it may not be Ranger leet level
And with Factions you won't be limited to fire mod to get conjure fire working with it (conflaguration)
Real quickly, fire and marksmanship attrib - extra to wildnerness/estore
[you might use two bows - generally zealous but if under fire, max vamp]
Favorable Winds, Conjure Flame, Conflaguration [factions], Barrage

And you can trap as a E/R tho not as well but then you can PBAoE...

I won't disagree other chars, even most, might work out better.
But don't say you can't. You can farm desert and shiverpeak spots.
But no you're not a great runner and I'm not sure Burning Speed will change that

For farming Ele is pretty good because they got the splash damage but if they get surrounded by alot of strong enemies they can get taken down pretty easily so maybe best go monk secondary and ele primary or the other way around.

Recently played around with an all earth ele build. It can solo just about anywhere that doesn't have enchantmet strippers. (running 4 enchants for energy management, armor and health regen) I don't use my secondary for this.

It means dropping your health to 55hp and use certain monk skills to be able to handle a lot of damage. Usually done by monks, but the same method can be used by other classes. Take a look in monk forum for more info.
